    Lec 4 - Richard and Mary L. Gray - A Life of Art. On June 6, 2011, Richard and Mary L. Gray helped found a new Center for Arts and Inquiry at the University of Chicago. The center will bring together artists and scholars to collaborate on new forms of artistic inquiry. The Grays have long supported the arts and humanities in Chicago, by building collaborative relationships between institutions throughout the city.
