Three dimensional structure of potassium channel

Cell membranes are semipermeable, meaning; transport of molecules across the membrane is selective. There are proteins embedded into the cell membrane that regulated the transport across the membrane. These proteins are called channels. Potassium channel regulates movement of potassium ion through the cell membrane. Edited by Ashraf
