Histology of Jejunum
Villi in jejunum are more developed and well formed. There is a relative lack of lymphoid tissues in the submucosa of jejunum. Numbers of goblet cells are fewer than absorptive cells. Paneth cells, which secrets various substances to neutralize the bacteria, are also present in the jejunum. Edited by Ashraf
