Heart Function
The job of the heart is to pump oxygenated blood throughout the cells of the body and to return deoxygenated blood to lungs or gills for replenishment. Right heart pumps blood in to the lungs,where it gets enriched with oxygen, while left heart pumps oxygen rich blood through body. Credit HHMI
