Gravitational lensing: a way to detect dark matter
Theory of relativity says that just as a lens bend light, a large mass such as a galaxy can also bend light. This is known as gravitational lensing. Lensing occurs whether the mass is visible or not. This raises the possibilities of detecting dark matter. Edited by Ashraf .
