Does Salt Melt?

Does salt melt? Although salt is an indispensable part of our diet, it is actually an ionic compound which results from the neutralization reaction of an acid and a base. Ionic bond in between Sodium and Choride ions are very strong so it melts at very high temperatures. And yes, it does melt. Here is the video to show it.
