    Development of intestine

    This is a demonstration of the development of the intestine. The GI starts as straight tube with fore, mid and hindguts. Midgut develops to jejuno-ileum, duodenum and proximal colon. It also develops a loop twisting counter-clockwise. In the twisting process, the proximal colon passes in front of duodenum forming parts as it is in adults.
