Atherosclerosis: leading cause of cardiovascular disease
Atherosclerosis is a condition is which lipids deposits into the wall of blood vessel. When this happens in the vessels supplying blood to heart, it is called coronary artery atherosclerosis. Coronary artery atherosclerosis reduces and ultimately prevents supply of blood to heart muscle leading to heart attack. Edited by Ashraf
