This video shows import and export between nucleus and cytosol. For this experiment, they are using GFP tagged NF-AT protein. NF-AT is Nuclear factor of activated T-cells protein and it is normally localized in the cytosol. GFP is Green Flourescent Protein and it is bound to NF-AT protein. Here, GFP flourescences and shows where location of NF-AT protein. When the Ca++ concentration increases in the cytosol, NF-AT is imported into nucleus and when Ca++ concentration is decreased in the cytosol, NF-AT is exported back to the cytosol again.
