    Jets of supermassive black holes

    Evidence is mounting that every galaxy has a super massive black hole at its center. A black hole forms when the gravitational forces collapse and there is insufficient energy to keep matter from falling into a singularity and therefore the black hole keeps absorbing other stars and other black holes thereby growing larger.
