In this second video of meiosis, we discuss the phases/stages of meiosis i.e. Prophase I - Formation of tetrad after pairing of homologous chromosomes. Anaphase I - Homologous chromosomes move opposite due to spindle fibers. Telophase II - Reformation of nuclear membrane reforms, division of cytoplasm divides, formation of 4 daughter cells. Metaphase II - Lining of chromosomes along the equator but not in homologous pair. Prophase I - Crossing-over. Anaphase II - Separation of chromatids. Metaphase I - Lining of homologs along the equator. Telophase I - Dividing of cytoplasm and formation of two daughter cells.
