Stingless bees pollinating Monstera deliciosa (Araceae)

Many Araceae are pollinated by Coleoptera. However, other pollinators are also important for the pollination of several neotropical genera. This video depicts the pollination of Monstera deliciosa, a widespread neotropical Araceae by workers of Plebeia droryana. The bees actively collect pollen which is temporarily stored at their corbiculae.
