The current TV and book series has Pilkington having no interest in worldwide tour, so Gervais and merchant makes his make a tour while they them selves make no travel at all, instead they stay in UK and monitor him. An idiot abroad is England's best travel documentary series televised on science and sky1, and also published by the conongate.
