       <p>Factoring any Second Order Homogeneous Linear Ordinary Differential Equation 

The main theorem, demonstrates that any Second Order Homogeneous Linear Ordinary Differential Equation may be factored via two linear differential 
operators.
 
A solution of such a factorization may be written as shown. 
And the total solution of such a factorization may be written as shown. 
Indeed,  it is easy to see, such factorization is compatible with the linear 2nd order ODE particular solutions formula. 
The total solution of such a factorization may be written as a generalization of Euler&#039;s Constant Coefficients solution technique; but, as shown, also generalizes the more general general elementary 2nd order HLODE solution. 
A general solution single parameter problem like the aforementioned.

The classic technique for generalizing a solution of a Ricatti ordinary differential equation, given a known solution amounts to an algorithm using that known solution. 
However, the algorithm is superfluous in view of the formula presented in the theorem, here. 
it should be noted, if not clear enough, that this is not a generalization of a Ricatti solution, given a solution, but another solution, given one 
(just as the reduction of order formula for an HLODE is not a general solution given one, but another, given one).
