Dr. Davies continues his lecture from the educational project directed by Dr. Wilson. text info: Cutting propagation (cuttage) is a vegetative propagation technique in which a portion of a plant is cut from the parent or stock plant and induced to form roots and/or shoots by a combination of chemical, mechanical, and/or environmental manipulations. This slide shows leafy shoot cuttings from a woody plant, with new adventitious roots which have formed at the base of the cutting after several weeks in the proper environment.
