How are we protected from tumors?
How does immune system protect us from cancer? Tumor cells have developed means of avoiding our immune system to detect them. Tumors express special antigens compatible with tissues in which they grow. Antigen Presenting Cells are involved in T-cell activation which attract tumor cells.
