Listeria and Gelatin

Dr. Finlay and a student volunteer show how Listeria infects a cell, using a marble and some yellow gelatin. Listeria is intracellular parasite (it unlike most other bacteria has to be in the cell to reproduce, and cause infection). Gelatin represents cytoplasm and one should notice how hard it is to move inside of the cell.
