Foods are being genetically modified for several reasons; achieve high yield, introduction and enhancement of nutrients, pesticide resistance among others. However, some scientists argue that genetic modification may lead to disasters. On the other hand, it is much appreciated that genetic modification has made this world a more food secure environment.
