    Egg Fertilization

    Sea urchin egg is visualized with microscope. On the left phase contrast is used, and on the right fluorescence is used. Cell on the left was labeled with dye which is brighter with increasing Ca++ levels. Cellular and molecular changed during fertilization are discussed.
