    Embryonic stem cells in culture: how to control them?

    After embryonic stem cells are extracted from basltocysts, they are cultivated in plastic dishes on layer of helper cells (they promote growth). Embryonic stem cells are immortal. As they develop, they begin to specialise. How do we make those stem cells to become what we need, for example skin or neurons?
